Once a strawberry farm owned by the Chinese, Hackers has been a haven for a long time. The Chaplin family bought the land in 1976; ten and a half acres of beautiful green earth, to mold and shape into a golf course. John and Helen Kastelein purchased the course in 1981 and established the Hackers Haven name.
