Waiting for over 10h to see a doctor when you arrive by ambulance is a joke!!!! Nurses are nice but just keep telling you your next 🙄

This is the first time I wrote review. I wouldn’t recommend the ER at this hospital. I visited the ER 5 times in August due to had miscarriage/ suspicious ectopic pregnancy. The 4 th visit I had unbeatable pain and told a short hair blonde nurse. She didn’t look at me but said “ that wouldn’t make you see the doctor sooner”. I said I just needed some painkiller. No response. I cried and sweated and kneed on the ground shortly after and 1 doctor and 1nurse were 2 feet away chatting and laughing

May 15th I went to my doctor who suggested I go to GRH to get a I V of antibiotics because of the pain I was in . When I arrived it was very quick got into a room informed the Nurse Practitioner of my situation. She came back after 2 hours suggested a CT scan which I was concerned about as I had just had one in January. After another 3 hours finally had the scan End result they sent me home with antibiotics and amazingly I DID NOT SEE THE DOCTOR ONCE......

I am so glad I came here for treatment. The staff was helpful and skilled and the treatment worked marvellously. I was greeted at the door and when I got lost, I was directed by a helpful and polite security guard, who pointed me in the right direction. I am so pleased with this hospital. The facility was spotless, and the hospital renovated. Thank you Grand River Hospital.

I saw the intake ...

I saw the intake nurse immediately and she was very good. I saw the doctor with in the half hour and he was very helpful and kind. The staff keeps everything highly confidential, and only the intake nurse and doctor know what you are there for. You can really tell the hospital is judgement free and the medical care they provide is of the highest quality. I am planning on dropping off a thank you card for all they have done for me. Thank you Grand River Hospital.
