BOB, (whose real name is Dominic Quarré) set up his business BOB, the King of Kitsch and Vintage in 2012 and could spend hours discussing the origin of the curiosities that populate his Aird Street studio in Montreal. But is BOB really the "king of kitsch"? Where does that title come from anyway?
Like any good story, BOB, the King of Kitsch and Vintage has an intereting history. "I was about to move in with my girlfriend and I had to slightly reduce my inventory of 'toys'," says Dominic. "At the same time, I had considered selling a piano at my father's house."
He decided to post a variety of fun items on Kijiji, in addition to the piano, describing them all in a humourous way to make people laugh, thinking that the piano would benefit indirectly from the visibility.
