The famous Law School Admission Test (LSAT) is known as one of North America’s more nerve-wracking exams to prepare for. The general rule is one to two months’ preparation for the half-day test, which lines up five 35-minute sections at a rapid clip and is mandatory for admission into law programs in Canada and the United States.
Finding a mentor who survived the gruelling trial with brio is thus a true leg up, and Graeme Blake has been such a mentor to Montrealers since 2011. The founder of LSAT Hacks, he aced the test himself with a 177/180 grade. “After passing the LSAT, I studied law for a year in Toronto, before starting my own tutoring consultancy. I honed my skills teaching a corporate prep class in Toronto,” Graeme says. “Since tutoring on my own I’ve taught LSAT courses in Ottawa, Calgary and finally Montreal. And since I have always wanted to become an entrepreneur, I realized that I could combine that desire with my passion for helping future law students into a career for myself,” he explains.
