Veggie Bunch Vegetarian Restaurant

1
6611 Buswell St, Richmond, BC V6Y 2G9

It might be rare, but a delicious vegetarian buffet is possible. Veggie Bunch has made it so. Stop in for a choice of 15 hot vegetarian dishes for a great price. Also, make sure you try the house-made ice cream, although it’s understandable if you don’t have room for it. Unlimited sweet and sour soup may be dangerous if you’re going to the movies afterwards, otherwise the entire menu is delicious and well worth the $13 you pay.

Little Mexico Cantina

2
150-3131 Chatham St, Richmond, BC V7E 2Y4

Authentic Mexican cuisine has arrived in Richmond. With the sharing and build-your-own aspect of tacos and fajitas, making a meal that suits both vegetarian and omnivore diets has never been easier. With so many veggies used in their meals and recipes, the vegetarian combinations for wraps, chimichangas, tostadas and almost everything else on the menu make each visit a unique experience. And, for dessert, you can’t go wrong with a deep fried Mars bar.

International Buddhist Society

3
9160 Steveston Hwy, Richmond, BC V7A 1M5

Only open for lunch service from Wednesday through Sunday and located on the ground floor of the Thousand Buddha Hall, Taste of Zen is one of the most coveted vegetarian restaurants in Vancouver. Payment is by donation only (the staff are temple volunteers) and some of the vegetables are grown in the garden on the temple grounds. To further set it apart from other vegetarian options, there are many choices not on the menu that you can ask about.

4 Stones Vegetarian Cuisine

4
160-7771 Westminster Hwy, Richmond, BC V6X 1A4

This is a small 10 table place that online reviewers are raving about, with the only complaint being the very intimate size. 4 Stones can’t offer too many full vegan dishes, but they have plenty of vegetarian twists on food court favourites like kung pao and sweet and sour oyster mushrooms. Don’t let the length of the menu intimidate you when you’re ordering take-out: having so many options just means you’ll never get bored.

On a cold, snowy Edmonton night, nothing says lovin’ like a cup of hot chocolate. It’s no surprise this drink was originally dubbed the “elixir of the gods.” Regardless of the variety you select, or whether you opt for the simplest hot chocolate on the menu, all I can say is ... don’t forget the marshmallows.
You don’t have to travel to Paris to have a true fine-dining experience; you can enjoy an upscale dinner, complete with a five-course meal and fine wine, right here at home. Victoria is a fine-dining destination with an excellent reputation – where talented chefs enjoy crafting delicious gourmet dishes from fresh, locally sourced ingredients.
Paired with a nice cup of coffee or topped with a scoop of ice cream, pie is unbeatable comfort food. And yet it faces stiff competition from cupcakes as the city’s dessert of choice. Well, pie is fighting back with old fashioned deliciousness as well as new and tantalizing flavours.
