I love this store. The management has improved its appearance and overall quality over the past few years, but the family-owened store has always been a favourite among locals for its convenience, prices, garden centre and deli. The only grocery store on the eastern side of the river, it holds key importance for military families' busy lives. It is a local treasure with a family atmosphere that is welcoming in a way that is becoming rare among grocery establishments.

This is my favourite store in Kingston! I love so many things about your store, fresh produce, bread, fish and meat products and prepared food. I have a suggestion. In the eating area there is no place to get a glass of water. Since I see you competing with Whole Foods, this is something they have and I do miss whenever I decide to have lunch while Im shopping. Best organic produce selection in Perth. The staff are friendly and they offer opportunities for people who have special needs, training them in a kind, respectful manner. Theres a larger store around the corner but I find the selection ranges are better here.

A cozy shop. You can find all things Dutch and tasty here. They've got a good selection of Indonesian spice packages and lots of Ontario- and Netherlands-produced Dutch treats. Even the occasional piece of orange-themed (usually football) kids clothing. You can even stop by for a chat and coffee with the Dutch-speaking proprietor. Highly recommended if you're ever visiting in Hanover.
The one thing I find disappointing is that they're closed Sundays. Any other day of the week would be fine. Perhaps they could hire someone to open up on Sundays or else close Mondays so they could open up on Sundays? The few times I'm in Hanover to visit family is on Sunday so 4 out of 5 times I cannot drop in :(.
Unfortunately I cannot include any Dutch words in the review. Sorry Dutch-speaking people :(.

I called the 1-800 No Frills help line, and they told me it was at the discretion of the store if I could get it replaced, without additional cost....Heather was exceptional.
