I’ve been to Dog and Bear many times. It’s a traditional British style pub. It’s laid back and chill, not a place for an event but definitely a place to hang out with the friends and grab some pints. Football(soccer) lovers as owners the screens always have good matches on during the season. If you are there on a day where west Ham and Man U go head to head you will likely see the rivalry as friends and supporters pile in and sit in separate sections of the bar to cheer for their teams. This is a really neat Aussie/Kiwi themed place I was introduced to on new years eve and it turned out to be great! The food was excellent quality for a pub and well prepared, as well as reasonably priced. Definitely a good spot to spend the evening with good friends. Read more

I visited last night for the first time for a friends birthday party I have to say the atmosphere was very nice the food was good the only downfall being a disabled person is with the washrooms be in downstairs. Excellent meal. Service was great - waitress was fun and checked on us every so often to see how we were doing. Food? Delicious! My burger was great, and the rest of my family thought good of the restaurant as well. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The old-fashioned chalkboard written deals and combos scattered across the restaurant felt like good-old home. I tell you all, this is my new FAVORITE place to eat. I had a bite of chicken fingers, too -- HeAvEnLy! If you decide to dine here, you won't be disappointed, I guarantee it!
