An excellent vegetarian buffet, a few staple dishes are always the same (dahl, aloo gobi, rice pilaf, lots of naan and pappadam) while a few dishes seem to go through a rotation. Dishes often taste a bit different every time, but always are delicious! Nice chai, and awesome gulab jamun for dessert too. This is a great little stop and eat Thai restaurant. They give you sit down meals at to-go prices. The decor is simple, bright, and very clean. There is no "Thai" decor except the King's picture, but they have a few tables as well as stool seating along window with a view of West Broadway . I like this place because it's very fast and a really good value. Their Combo specials are under $10.00 and the lunch specials even cheaper! ( I think they are 7.99) The portions are perfect and for the price of a fast food meal you get authentic Thai curry and rice loaded with your choice of meat and veggies. It is almost all Thai people that work there and if you can handle the heat you can ask for "Thai style" and get the dishes with a much hotter spicy flavor. So next time you are doing a little shopping on West Broadway and got a rumble in your stomach drop by! They are located 1/2 a block West from MacDonald street on Broadway on the South Side of the street. mission city is a great place for good cheap pizza. the $5 for 2 pieces of pizza and drink is a great deal if your tight on money. when I go in the people are great the service is great and the atmosphere is good. I was off like $2 for the pizza but there was only 2 slices left so they gave me a free one. i would highly recommend. Read more
