We ordered take out,super fast delivery, food was amazing, portions were very generous. My husband eats a lot and couldn't finish his portion and we couldn't stop eating it was so fresh and tasty! For years my family of four and I have been ordering food from Lucky Dragon by delivery. We shave been BEYOND impressed by our delivery service, the delivery man is ALWAYS on time with a huge smile on his face and over all positive and happy vibe. After telling our delivery man that we've never been inside the physical location before he suggested that we go in and eat, so the following week we did. We were automatically seated by an Asian lady with bright red hair, she seemed nice and greeted us with small talk etc,. When we were ready to order we had to wait sevrel minutes even though we were the only table, the Lady(whom seems to be the owner) was to preoccupied with her phone. When she finally came over, we had a couple questions and she seemed annoyed to be answering them. After we got our food a couple more tables came in and it got louder and she turned up the music, I called her over to ask if she could turn this Spanish repetitive dance music down a bit considering my two kids were getting a bit cranky and she rolled her eyes and shot a mean glare to my TODDLERS and kept the music at the same level. Overall, the food was great but we're defiantly sticking to delivery ... Much better service away from the resteraunt

When we want to order chinese food we always order from here as they deliver to the Katimavik Area of Kanata. Our standing order for them is egg rolls, hot and sour soup, won ton soup, salt and pepper shrimp, shechwan shrimp, beef and brocoli, sweet and sour pork, almond chicken su guy, cantoneses chowmein, chicken fried rice. Sometimes we change a few dishes we love their general taos chicken too as well as their sizzling pepper beef ( not usually available for delivery) It costs approx $80 but it feeds our family of 4 - 2 whole meals and maybe a lunch sent to work too - so feeds about 8-10 people. Food here is comparable to china town in some dishes.

Got home. Tired! Hungry! So I decided with my friend to try the Golden Star as we are new to the area. Wow! What a great choice we made. We used the JustEat.ca site to place our order and we were impressed by the pricing and the low delivery charge. Well we had our food in less than 30 minutes at our door and it was hot and fresh with a polite smiling delivery person. Everything was as ordered and the taste was super. The portion sizes were huge as we'll be finishing the rest today. I highly recommend Golden Star as we'll be back.

My friend and I fell upon this restaurant quite by accident. We were getting gas at the nearby gas station and decided to check out the restaurants in the little plaza beside it. Boy did we luck out!We went into this little unassuming restaurant and didn't know what to expect. The decor is somewhat drab and the bathrooms were terrible. This made me a little skeptical about the whole place but we were pleasantly surprised. So many menu choices to choose from with many dishes I have never even hear of. Everything was amazing!!! As a vegetarian, I am picky about my tofu. I've had tofu too mushy, tofu too firm, uncooked, overcooked, under-seasoned, over-seasoned, etc, etc. This is so NOT the case at the Lucky 7! They fry up a mean tofu and veggies and the consistency of the tofu in the tofu soup is soft without being mushy. The flavours of these two dishes have become a comfort food to me. The people who work there are also some of the kindest people I've ever had the pleasure of ordering from. The entire experience is exactly what you need after a difficult day.

I went to the new Beijing Legend restaurant on Bank with my wife and our friends.
My wife is Chinese and is picky about your 'authentic flavour'.
The atmosphere of this place is very nice and better than other Chinese restaurants I have been. The workers all wear nice uniform and great you with a smile.
This restaurant has only been open a few weeks so the service was a little slow. I don't think it was a big concern as it was much faster than most restaurants around(just not compared to normal Chinese food).
The best thing about Beijing Legend was the taste of the food.
We ordered a fish dish, pork dish with mushrooms and a tofu dish. We started the meal with a nice soup.
Each dish brought a smile to our faces and we were surprised how good it tasted.
The portions were large and even with 4 of us we had to take some home.
Currently Beijing legend is CASH ONLY however I believe that will change soon. They also will have their liquer licence soon so once they have that it will be an even better experience.
My wife and I look forward to going again soon.
