This place is amazing. It's been around a long time. We've been coming here for over 7 years. I never revew on yp but I am writing this because I looked them up and saw that they needed a little love on here. My entire family loves it. It's our go-to Indian restaurant in Mississauga. Took my family here for mother's day and it was very busy! We walked in and wrote gave our names and got a table within 5 minutes. After trying the food I can tell why there were so many customers, the food is mouth-watering! Definitely the best Indian food in the GTA. Won't be going to bras or tandoori flame again. To be honest, I don't think I have anything really negative to say about this restaurant. We visited for lunch on a Sunday, and were the first people in the restaurant. As a party of seven, we were seated at an assembled table right by the bar near the front of the restaurant. From what I can recall, we ordered the Manchurian Chicken, Chili Chicken (dry), mixed vegetables, butter chicken, and chicken chow mein - looking back, yes that was a lot of chicken - and it was all rather delicious. I have been to Bombay on the Lake a couple of times and I highly recommend it. Everything we have ordered there has been delicious and an excellent value. It's great to have a place that will actually serve a Vindaloo hot. The atmosphere is typical for an Indian restaurant, but that's really how I like it.
