My boyfriend and I lined up here for lunch earlier this month (2nd visit), and had their miso (medium) ramen and he had the shio ramen. We both chose fatty pork which comes with the ramen for added flavour. There are always line-ups outside their door and you can't help but think it must be good if there are a dozen other ramen shops in the same vicinity with zero line-ups at others! They are extremely busy. If you are parking, expect to put enough coins in the meter to stay at least 1.5 hours (line-up time, wait time after ordering, eat time). They are a Japanese run shop with all-Japanese staff, and have the best ramen I have ever had. Next time, I will have their miso ramen (again) with their heavy base for more richness in the broth. Stay away from their gyoza, however. They buy this frozen from a supermarket and it tastes cheap. Read more

My wife is a sushi expert. She has tried almost every sushi restaurant in the downtown vicinity on multiple occassions and quite often the staff will know who she is. That being said, I definitely trust her opinion on Sushi and right now this place is her favorite. It is a small sit-down/takeout restaurant on Robson street and it is fairly new, and the sushi is fantastic. The salmon is always fresh and since they don't serve famred salmon it is always amazing. The miso soup is complimentary with a minimum $5 order and the staff are always pleasant. The only downside is they don't have any cooked food, it is purely sushi with some noodle soup options. One of the great top 5 Sushi places in Vancouver. The Sushi has excellent presentation, and it tastes great. Not your average sushi rolls, but the ingredients they use and the way they use them make for a great dining experience. Be prepared to wait and dine 10 inches away from the next table, it’s a tight squeeze, but worth it. Service could be more attentive. Read more

Not many restaurants open after 10pm on a Thursday for a late night bite along Robson. The service was average as there was a slight delay to order but the beer came prompt which kept us occupied until our grilled calamari and pork cheeks arrived along with the yakisoba. Pretty good in taste overall. The yakisoba was udon based which was not what I was expecting, and not much meat or vegetable but pretty good. Read more
