I LOVE THIS PLACE! I've been here a few times and always look forward to going. The decor is unpretentious and the food is fabulous! Fantastic food and service. Everything was fresh and very tasty. Steaks were huge and done to perfection. Chicken fingers were homemade, yummy. The best we ever had. The potatoes in the chicken souvlaki were priceless. Will definitely be back and can't wait to try all the other menu items. I heard the chicken wings were to die for and they are half price on Wednesdays!

Ate at Windies on a whim on a Monday night. The atmosphere was nice and waitress was friendly. They have a very diverse selection of Caribbean and Chinese-style food, and a good assortment of cocktails - unfortunately, no beer on tap.
I had the Jerk mixed chow-mein and bbq wings. Wings were better than expected at this type of joint, and the main entree was good and *massive*, especially given the ~$13 price.
Would definitely return.

Amazing atmosphere, super friendly people. We moved into the East York area about 2 years ago and we always go there for a fun time. The food is always fresh nothing frozen, the beer is always cold and most important Tom (The bartender) is always super nice pouring liquors. Great family run business and if your having a bad day Tom will tell you jokes or he will find a way to put a smile on your face :) :)

Been to Bite Me on Bayview a few times, service is so friendly & accommodating and their food is even better. Perfectly cooked breakfast, exceptional burger so well spiced and tasty - better than 5 guys or burger priest. Sylvana made me feel at home and their chicken souvlaki dinner smoked any of the many places on the Danforth. Truly great meals.
