I had dinner at this restaurant for the first time, in late November and had a fabulous meal. I agree with all of the reviews here. In my opinion, not many restaurants deserve the reviews they get but this one certainly does. Fresh, tasty and authentic. I love Little Saigon because the food is great, but the prices are very great too! I often eat at Royal Pho in Ancaster because it is closer, but I end up getting food that doesn't taste quite as good, and costs more. Another good thing about Little Saigon is it is close to the mall, so I can escape food court prices and have a tasty sit down meal. The food is fresh, arrives quickly and is flavourful and delicious. I always finish every last bite, it is so good! If you like vietnamese food and eat it often, this is the place to go!

I've been hoping to find a place that does a version of Pad Thai which rivals the Pad Thai that the Thai Terrace (formerly in Mississauga) used to make. We loved the food here (a worthy rival for Ben Thanh just down the road). We will be back a lot in the future...perhaps even tonight as it's directly across Hwy 7 from the Galaxy Theatre complex and we're seeing Jack the Giant Killer.

my friends and i love this place! the food is always good and the waitresses are all so friendly and funny! they're also very accommodating since i have a ton of allergies. (not to mention, their portions are HUGE)
sometimes the food takes a bit to come out when it's busy, but that's always understandable.
overall, it's a great place to have a casual lunch date with your girlfriends, they're never pushy about patrons staying too long.

This was our first time at Simply Thai Cuisine. It was recommended by a Toronto relative who has been impressed by the food and service on a number of visits. This restaurant was well worth the trip from London. Every item was excellent and our waiter was very helpful and understanding. The prices are extremely reasonable. We have never had better Thai food anywhere in Ontario.

I have been going to Satay on the Road off and on for the better part of 15 years and have never once in that time had a disappointing meal. The food is always fantastic and despite having tried a myriad of different items I always come away from Satay satisfied. Of particualr note are one of the appetizers and one of the mains. First, the appetizer. Golden Baskets. They should call them by their full name...Golden Baskets of Amazing Tasty-ness with Just the Right Amount of Flavourful Spicy Goodness. I guess there isn't enough room on the menu for that though. These and the spring rolls are the perfect combo to kick off your meal. The second is Cashew Nut Chicken. I still hold Satay on the Road's Cashew Nut Chicken up as the gold standard for this dish. On a recent visit it made me miss Toronto...it is that good! The drinks list is kitschy too...they have their cocktail menu on those paper place-mats that used to be all the rage back in the '70s. Ah nostalgia. Anyway, located in the heart of Bayview Village...the area not the mall...Satay on the Road is a must dine for anyone who loves Thai and Malaysian food!

The food is great...THE best Thai food I can find in the GTA after visiting numerous different places.
The ambience makes a strong attempt to be reminiscent of Thailand, which is very appropriate for the wholesome food you receive.
The wait staff is quite good from my experience, They're always at your side as soon as your glass is almost empty.
The pad Thai is the best I've ever had...not dry like other places.
The thai special is amazing...I have yet to find a place that can compare to this perfect soup.

I have never had Thai food before but our visitors from Toronto loved Thai food. Because of the reviews over a year ago I was worried about visiting this restaurant. We went about 4 p.m. for dinner and our experience was great. I thought that if the food was going to be poorly cooked or appear to be left over as a previous reviewer stated, it would be at this time of day.The waiter was friendly and helpful. Our food arrived steaming hot, fresh and delicious. Every dish was as described and everyone enjoyed their meals. Our friends definitely agreed that we would be visiting here again.

This is my family's come to place for Thai and Chinese food. We usually order take-out due to time constraints, but we have dined in once or twice and service was fast. When we do take-out, we order Thai dinner for 4 or Chinese dinner for 5. The two are about the same price, but the Chinese dinner is what we love because you get a lot of food for a good price.
