Travelling during the holidays can be tiring, but it doesn't have to be a nightmare. Here are four ways to make it less stressful.
Flying
If you're flying, book 45 to 60 days in advance.
Driving
Driving may be a better option if your destination is within a reasonable distance. This is also helpful if you have young children and need to bring a lot of extra gear.
It's always good to speak with your family or host ahead of time so each of you knows exactly what to expect when you arrive.
Make sure any essentials you or your children need are in your carry-on bag.
Arrive three hours before your flight takes off to give you plenty of time to get through security.
Easily retrieve their info anytime you need it on any of your devices
