Although the bar area is very impressive and very hi-tech comfortable, the restaurant, both food and the service was unimpressive from start to finish. The food was plain/boring and is overpriced, and the staff appear fairly uniterested is addressing the customers' requests or comments.
Had to wait for a table. Very busy and I don't know why. Food was far too salty - guess the chef doesn't taste what he cooks. Spend your money elsewhere.
My husband and I took our friend to this particular restaurant for her birthday, as we had heard good things. Little did we know what we were in for. First, they were out of cornbread muffins and one other appetizer which seemed strange for a Tuesday night. After ordering, we proceded to wait fourty minutes until finally the manager came over and explained there had been a "mix up" in the kichen and our food would be out shortly. It was obvious to us that the "mix up" was the large table next to us getting priority as people kept arriving and were getting their meals before us and several other tables around us. After another 10 minutes or so our food arrived. I had ordered a chicken and pasta dish and apparently they had burned the chicken and tried to salvage it by scraping it off as there were crunchy bits of charcoal all through it. I sent it back and asked for salmon thinking it would be quick since my husband and friend were well into their meals by now. The outside edges were good, however the raw (and I mean RAW) middle was not edible and very fishy. I didn't bother to complain because by this point my companions had long since finished and we wanted to leave. The manager gave me my desert and drink for free. In total, we spent close to three hours just trying to get our food and get out of there. The only redeeming thing about the visit was our waiter who did everything but stand on his head to make things better. I can't imagine that we will ever go to another Milestones again.
