B & T Food

I have been going to this store for years/in the last few months I went,actually I have seen improvement in their customer services,the lady manager or so has reduced yelling/cashiers have been gentle-helpful.Quite few of employees do not speak/understand English very well,and just maybe ,they just talk loud.B&T ,so far have the best prices for torpedo shrimps/sprill roll wrappers/longanisa/grated cassava/coconut,as I can remember.

This store has a very rude, uneducated lady employee who thinks everybody should stay quickly on the side when she passes through their narrow isle as she pushes her cart loaded with produce/items for stocking. She almost hit my wife with her cart today. Their manager was informed about this incident but she took our complaint with a nonchalant shrug saying there were similar complaints about her. It appears she is very indispensable but she is smearing the image of B & T Food!

I actually find the cashiers to be quite helpful and efficient. Nothing bad to report.

The B & T Food Centre on Queen St N in Hamilton is a shameful disappointment as far as Asian food markets are concerned. The market has good prices but the managers, cashiers, and butchers are all so terribly rude that a poor customer service experience will be the result for most shoppers. The market also has a problem with not having enough hand held and rolling baskets, so that you are likely to have to hold everything in your hands as you walk around the store. Avoid. Shop elsewhere.

Disrespectful cashiers in here. Wife trying to pay by debit and her card didn't work. Apparently, the cashier got upset and saying something in their language you wouldn't understand but you can read their reactions, and my 9 year old daughter watching. Then my daughter told her mom not to go the store anymore, she said they are mean.

Good prices. Terrible customer service. One of the worst I have ever seen. The cashiers, manager and butchers are just focused on receiving your business. They are rude to customers who are unable to speak English fluently. One of the ladies (spiked hair with yellow highlights) constantly yells at customers for no given reason, and when you attempt to reason with her, she tells you to "go somewhere else." As a McMaster University student, who was excited for an Asian Market, I am disappointed.

Good prices in general. But Butchers are very rude. Ive seen them fight with customers who cant speak english well, they get impatient and swear at the customer. Weekends are very busy, line ups at cash get long and parking is minimal.
