Family owned establishment for over 35 years. Famous for our roast beef sandwiches. Open late, variety of Canadian and Greek foods. Order at our counter and choose to eat in or take out. Visit Tally Ho Restaurant for good food!
Got two burgers with gravy and some bread. The food was OK but I personally over salted it. I have a feeling it might have been slightly too salty even before I heaped on the salt. But the burgers were pretty nice and the bread was fresh.
I love Tally Ho. It's so delicious. It's good for a night you really want to eat food that's probably pretty terrible for you. Service has always been friendly and quick, and it's always nice and clean. :)
French fries, beef and loads of gravy=perfect food to top off a night of drinking! It's definitly not gourmet but it sure hits the spot when you want something tasty, quick and filling.
Excellent food - always fresh and always hot. Been going to this restaurant for longer than I can remember. Although we don't live in the area anymore, this is one place we always come to when home for a visit. Would highly recommend. Suitable for babies through to seniors.

Was just there for my first visit for lunch. The sign outside said roast beef sandwiches so I thought that must be their specialty.
The price was alright for the basket however I found the sandwich to be nothing exciting. The roast beef was overcooked and the "moisturization" while reheating didn't do much to revive it. Then it was slapped on a cheap, stale grocery store white bun with a couple pumps of gravy. Not very satisfying. The gravy not was not 'to die for' as others have said, rather it was below mediocre at best.
Top it off with cheap, frozen grocery store fries and a lacklustre coleslaw, this was a meal that could be found in any high school cafeteria in the country. Somewhat disappointing considering it sounded like a hidden gem of a lunch restaurant. Doubtful I would return.
