Not so fair reviews

I have to say this is a restaurant that tries really hard! My first question is why the vast amount of workers in this building do no attend Tommys to eat. The owner should find out and address their concerns! Has potential. But try or you will fail!

Disturbing

We were in town for a hockey tournament staying close by, walked to the restaurant and were completely thrown, a large bar area filled with bar flies, loud and obnoxious, waiteress that look like hookers or strippers?? not sure maybe both. The place looks like it had not been updated since 1980?? Now we are stuck, the kids were starving, no time to go to another restaurant so Sat at the back so we did not have to be exposed to the bar flies and the strippers, I mean waitresses hanging around the bar chatting with the regulars, saw one doing a shooter with them! Well the pizza was delicious, but OMG would never return to that place again, not a place for children

Needs to address slow day time service, service with a smile!

I find it ironic that the poster below Had experienced the same slow unforseen service. Well, our group of six was really disappointed in the slow turtle like service recieved. This only server on was also more interested in eating at the bar beside the cash register than serving our table and the group beside us! When we finally finished it took nearly fifteen minutes to get our bill. My wife went to the bar and noticed that she was outside smoking! GREAT PIZZA,NO SERVICE! The younger servers at night are more hungry for tips! Cheers

Not worth the long wait

This old and tired restaurant lacks passion and definitely style. It feels like an old sub shop from the 80's. As for the service, we were not impressed! During lunch, the server/bar person was more worried about eating their lunch and smoking outside than serving our table. We were late to return to work because of the lack of service!

Qaulity and service at amazing value!

Tommy's Dining Lounge is one of the best kept secrets in Kanata. Their food is fresh, quantities large, and taste is amazing. Everything on the menu is great, but their steaks are probably best around. I love steak, and have had it at many higher end restaurants, but they don't compare to overall taste, value and quality that Tommy's provides. In addition to the food, their staff are great. The service is efficient and friendly. The combination of food and service at Tommy's makes it the kind of place you want to repeatedly come back to.
