Been going out for lunch at least twice a week with two buddies for last 9 years. Living in the area of White Oaks, we have a selection of several restaurants and we've tried most of them. For the last five years or so we just don't go any other place. What can I say. The food is excellent, the service is great and the management and staff are friendly and caring. I won't bore you with all the details but I will tell you that we still go there 2 times a week and sometimes more.
I live out of town but I always try to visit whenever I'm in London. This is the best fish I have ever tasted. The staff are friendly, the food is always hot and prepared quickly. The decor is authentic and reminds me of the diners in the Maritimes. My mouth is watering just thinking about it..

The food was great. Couldn't complain about the taste, but I will have to say they did not give the customer much of the tar tar sauce. I always say, "The fish and chips is no good without a good tar tar sauce!"
The pop portions are horrible! The glass they give you is small, and refills cost extra. It is smaller than a can of coke, and filled to the rim with ice cubes! Why should I have to pay $1.75 for less than a can of coke??
The dinning room was quite small. Felt bad for people that were waiting, as the seats were all taken. Oh ya the SEATS! We sat in the booth and as soon as I plopped down in the booth, my back and bones started to hurt! There is no cushioning whatsoever! (and the majority of the customers were seniors so I don't understand how they could sit there without being in pain)
And lastly the service. Our waitress didn't seem to care that much. We wanted to order another haddock and chips to go, but she said... Remind me when you are leaving.... even though we were practically done. But we tipped her well....

We have been ordering haddock and halibut about once a month this is the best tasting meal we have ever had. The last two times we ordered the portions have gotten smaller. Cant fill us with small portions, because its so tasty we need a regular size again thanks.

WOW!!! This place is exceptional. I have been to ALL the Fish&Chip places in London and this is hands down the best. A friend of mine told me about and I can't believe I have been missing out on this! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!! 100% will go back!
