Studio Alkemy is where doors open, friendships blossom and magic happens. For owner Kassandra Kernisan, her yoga studio is the place to go for transformation.
"You have to come here to experience it personally," she says, "but there’s a connecting energy here. It’s a magical place, and it’s had a profound effect on everyone who has been a part of it . . In the past year, I’ve grown so much by giving classes and taking the classes and workshops that have been offered here. I learn and grow every day.”
The funny thing is, Kassandra didn’t set out to open a yoga studio. She is a certified naturopath and has her own holistic, chemical-free skincare line called Pure Violet. Opening a yoga studio wasn’t even on her radar until she discovered an authentic yoga practice that transformed her life and shortly after bumped into a former landlord who made her an offer for a space she couldn’t refuse.
“The universe rearranged things so I could see a path that I am supposed to be on,” Kassandra says. “Yoga has transformed my life and that’s why I chose the word ‘Alkemy’ for my studio.”
